Guess what??!!!??

Nastia's Dad on the left and Nastia on the right. Valeri Liukin is soooo proud of his daughter.

WE WON THE GOLD & SILVER!!!!!!!

Thursday night was the women's gymnastics all-round competition were Nastia Liukin 18 year old from Parker, Tx and 16 year old Shawn Johnson from West DesMoines, Iowa competed to keep the Gold medal in the United States. Carly Patterson one of my favorite gymnast who is also from North Texas won the the Gold medals in the 2004 Olympics in Athens 4 years ago for the first time since Mary Lou Retten in the 1992 Olympics in Atlanta, Georgia. Then comes Nastia Liukin, her dad and coach Valeri Liukin won 4 medals in the 1988 Seoul games and her mom Anna Liukin competed in Rhythmic gymnastics, so all the reporters are saying that its in Nastia blood to win gold. When Nastia and Shawn won the gold and silver medals that was the first time in history(i'm not sure if its just u.s. or if its olympic history) anyone has gone one and two in the Olympics. CONGRATULATION NASTIA & SHAWN!!

Sky Ranch!!!!

My very very stupid camera cord!!! aaaahhhhhh!!!

Okay so the reason I haven't posted any new pictures is because the cord to my camera has something wrong with the wire, so it now it won't connect to my computer. So until I get a new cord I'm going crazy, the card on my camera is getting full, and you aren't seeing any new pics, like the one i took at kids kamp, some pics I took of my sisters and I, and different things like that.

2008 Beijing Olympics!!

So I'm like totally obsessed with the Olympics!! I have been like counting down the days. I even have a sticker on my facebook that says, "can't wait for 08/08/08"

My favorite events are the swimming, Gymnastics and Volleyball.

My favorite athletes are Michael Phelps age 23,(swimming) who also has I think like 9or 10 Olympic medals. And like 6 of those are GOLD. Then there is Nastia Luikin(gymnastics) age 18 and she is from Parker, TEXAS!! and Nastia trains at a gym in Frisco. She is competing for a gold medal in the all-round finals tonight at 11:00 p.m., CAN'T WAIT!!! Also competing tonight in the all-round competition is another one of my favorites 16 year old Shawn Johnson from Iowa. Shawn Johnson and Nastia Luikin and the rest of the U.S.A team won the silver at the team finals Tuesday night, they lost to China by like 2 1/2 points. My other favorite gymnast is Johnathon Horton on the men's U.S. team and he is from Houston, TEXAS!! He finished 10th or 11th last night in the all-round competing.

So their you have it. You now know you I'm betting on for the Olympics. Just kidding I don't bet. But they are my favorites!!

Konosis Trip '07

Me on a rock in the same river we went white water rafting in. We had to walk on all of those stones just to get to the BIG rock and then had to jump on to it, and it was very slick.
All of the girls in my group including me. Layne, Tori, Victoria and Jordan (above)K's burgers.OMGsh the best burgers and strawberry malt on the planet!! Last summer I got to go on a retreat with the 8th grade girls leadership group at church. Me along with 4 other 8th grade girls, one high school Jr.counselor and three adult leaders were in two different cars for 18-19 hours heading to Buena Vista, Colorado. So these are a few of the pics of me and some of my friends. We went to the Noahs Ark White Water Rafting and camping grounds in Buena Vista, CO. Where we went White Water Rafting. We also climbed the Great Sand Dunes of CO and went horse back riding up into the mountains,we also just hung out in our tent after paying 50 cents for a cold shower. :( But we had a blast. :)
Me and my friend Layne Carter. We have been friends since 3rd grade.
Layne on the same rock I was on just from a different point of view. One night while everyone else was in the tent getting ready for bed, Layne and I layed out side on the picnic table and just talked and just looked at the stars, we hadn't had a chance to talk likle that in a long time.

Curtis Geesaman

Curtis w/ friends from church in Ohio

I've known Curtis since 5th grade and was very sad when I learned he had died while at camp having fun with his friends. Please pray for Curtis family especialy his youngest sister Natalie(8) who is not doing well after the death of her big brother and also remember to pray for his friends who are trying to cope with the death of a REALLY good friend. Curtis is now with his Savior in Heaven, and will forever be remembered.

Below is an artical written about what happened

Curtis w/ his Dad, Troy

A Hamilton Twp. family and Lebanon church community is mourning the death of a teen who died from injuries suffered in an accident at a Christian summer camp on Tuesday, July 15 at Cedarville University.
Curtis Geesaman, 15, who was attending the camp with a group from Heritage Baptist Church in Lebanon, was participating in a "Sumo Wrestling" event inside an inflatable ring when he tried to dive on top of another student. He landed on his head, causing a severe injury, said Dan Brown, executive director of LIFT Youth Ministries.
"The way he landed, he hit his head and caused some bleeding," said Brown, whose organization is holding a camp for 1,300 high schoolers at Cedarville University this week.
Curtis was pronounced dead at 12:45 a.m. Wednesday, according to the Montgomery County Coroner's office. The accident happened about 3:30 p.m. Tuesday, Brown said. Curtis was taken to Greene Memorial Hospital and then transferred to Children's Medical Center in Dayton, where he was put on life support. He was an organ donor.
The Geesaman family, which has only lived in Ohio little more than a year, delayed moving back to Texas because Curtis wanted so badly to participate in the LIFT Youth Ministries camp along with his friends at Heritage Baptist Church in Lebanon.
"He really has grown to love the kids in his church," said Troy Geesaman, Curtis' father.
As much as Curtis loved his Ohio friends, he was excited to go "home" where there were more opportunities to perfect his ice hockey skills and meet up with old friends, his father said.
"The fact that he was at a church camp having an awesome time, that gives us some comfort," said his father. "Curtis loved to learn about God, play sports and be with friends."
"I think he just loves the fun and fellowship," Geesaman said. ". . . Our biggest comfort is knowing where he is now."
Other children at the camp decided to stay at the camp and mourn their loss as a united group, said Ellen Powers, an executive assistant at Heritage Baptist.
LIFT Youth Ministries, based in Kentucky, holds summer programs for thousands of high school age students across the country.
The organization has rented out facilities in Cedarville for eight years, said John Davis, university spokesman.
In addition to his father, Troy, Curtis is survived by his mother, Kim Geesaman, and two younger sisters, Ellen, 11, and Natalie, 8.
The family will hold a visitation from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Saturday, July 19 at Heritage Baptist Church, 2234 Utica Road, Lebanon. A funeral service will begin at 11 a.m. Arrangements are being made for a memorial service and burial in Gunter, Tex.
